great little box. The ram is non expandable. They should do something about that and they should use sdram4 instead of sdram3. But it is a great little machine. Also, this is my first computer w/win10. Not a fan. But very minimal bloatware. Easy to set up.Update 11/18/2020Bottom line: the sd card reader doesn’t work. It was an older version of win 10pro. DDR3 ram and i3 processor. So, my laptop that I had plugged in to my computer finally broke and I need a new computer in a hurry.Immediately, I ordered a laptop that was on sale and had some great reviews from best buy. Then I read the laptops specs. (lol) I was dumbfounded by the lack of accessories that laptops come with these days. Next I start looking here for a budget PC and found this mini. When the laptop was delivered I returned it immediately. It had been close to 10 years since I had purchased a PC. And I never upgraded to windows 10, I mean if it ain't broke don’t fix it. This little box seemed perfect. What I was looking for:Plenty of USB portsRJ-45 (ethernet)WiFiBluetoothSSD drive8gb of ram or moreSD card readerHDMIAnd a DVD/CD driveBasically everything that I had in my defunked laptop. This little box seems to have it all but the DVD/CD drive. Which I bought separately. But when you dig a little deeper you should expect more. A lot of the little stuff was brought to my attention when I ended up getting a PC for my buddy. He saw me setting up my PC and how small it was and wanted me to upgrade his PC.I could tell you about how frustrating win10 is but this about AWOW. They made the initial set up easy with very little bloat ware. I liked that. I am still having a hard time getting win10 the way I want it but set up was very easy.At the time of the original review I was waiting for the samsung evo SD cards to go on sale so I had no idea the SD card reader was broke. Even when I inserted the micro SD card into the slot I didn’t see the error msg and it showed up in the file explorer… Anyway, less than a week ago I switched cards and caught the error msg. So, thats one star gone.As I mentioned, my friend wanted a PC upgrade. And I got a flash sale notice from woot for one. After purchase I was worried that I didn’t review the specs enough but it was fine in fact it is better than mine and had a cheaper price. Of course it was refurbished but my AWOW was about 20-30 more.First two things that I noticed was that I have an i3 the other an i5, and DDR3 ram the other DDR4.Then I noticed that his ram was expandable to 32g while mine is soldered in and unexpandable. I knew this a purchase but it just felt like salt in my wound knowing this.Next, his didn’t have any HDMI ports but his had DP ports. ( I have to admit I didn’t know what that was but it came out after my last laptop purchase) Of course they(amazon) got a cable for that. But it got me thinking why should I have 2 HDMI and no DPort. It probably should have at least one of each. So, I just want to mention the second star that I took was for old stuff thats included. Why slower DDR3 and why so many USB 2.I noticed another reviewer couldn’t run zoom smoothly on this. I haven’t tried but feel this could handle that.
