8 GB of onboard 1600 MHz LPDDR3 SDRAM,
256 GB of PCIe-based flash storage, and
an "integrated" Intel HD Graphics 5000 graphics processor that shares system memory.

This all is packed in a razor thin (0.11-0.68 inch),
2.3 pound, aluminum case with
an integrated 720p "FaceTime HD" webcam,
a backlit full-size keyboard and
an 11.6" widescreen TFT LED backlit active-matrix "glossy" display
(1366x768 native resolution).

Connectivity includes
- 802.11ac Wi-Fi,
- Bluetooth 4.0,
- analog audio out,
- a "Thunderbolt" port, and
- two USB 3.0 ports.

Compared to its predecessor, this model is practically identical -- with the same design and architecture -- but it has a faster processor, longer reported battery life (due to OS X improvements rather than hardware), and a few, but not many, different identifiers, as well.

Grade A 

Minimal to no-wear. A pre-owned product that was inspected and tested to work and look like new. The product has minimal to no signs of wear, no visible cosmetic imperfections when held 14 inches away, and may arrive in a brown or white box with relevant accessories that may be generic.

Grade B

Signs of normal usage. Product will show Wear from previous use, but it remains in good condition and functions properly. Units might have scratches, dents, bents, cracks as well as minor screen imperfections.

Grade C

Signs of heavy usage but continues to function properly. Signs of wear can include moderate to major aesthetic issues such as scratches, dents, and worn corners, screen spots or other imperfections. The item may have identifying markings on it or show other signs of previous use. More specifics might be noted in description.
