I use these to plug my phone into the Aux inputs on by audio equipmentI also use them on my computer to split the audio out to a mixer before using the female equivalent of this splitter adapter to bring the audio back into my headphones. The male microphone output of the female splitter adapter goes straight into the microphone input of this splitter.
