The drive comes nicely packaged with a lot of foam around the drive to keep it protected. It also comes with a USB-C to USB-A adapter so you can use the drive in any device, a neck lanyard and a user guide and warranty info sheet. The drive design has captured caps on both ends so you can take the cap off and still have it attached to the drive on the side so you won’t lose the cap. One side has the Apple Lightning connector and the other USB-C, so it can be used on older & newer Apple devices, USB-C/USB-A on any Android/Windows/Apple devices. You need to install the TEKISM Drive app in order to access the drive on an Apple device. On Android or Windows it’s not required. The app requires access to the drive and photo/video storage on your device in order to be able to transfer data to/from the drive. The app seems fairly well laid out and easy to use vs other apps for similar drives I’ve tested before.Once the data has been copied to the drive, it can be accessed by a Windows or Android device without the need of an app, so it allows for easy data backup/transfer.I performed some Windows based performance benchmark tests using CrystalDiskMarkV8 & a Windows File Manager file copy to see the read/write abilities of the drive.CrystalDiskMarkV8: Read=140.2MB/s, Write=80.51MB/sWindows File Manager- Write a single large 6150MB file into the drive: 1m45.50s = 58.29MB/s- Write 1600MB of small files/folders into the drive: 2m2.42s = 13.07MB/s- Read/Copy the single large 6150MB file & copy out of the drive: 50.45s = 121.90MB/s- Read/Copy the 1600MB of small files/folders out of the drive: 38.49s = 41.69MB/sOverall, the TEKISM 128GB drive worked well. Provides an easy ability to copy/backup/transfer data to/from your Apple/Android/Windows based devices. The read & write performance are average but usable, but the convenience of transferring your photos out of your Apple device makes up for the average transfer performance.
